Cooking Instructions:
Oven Roast:
Preheat your oven to 200°C (180°C fan) / Gas Mark 6. Season the tri-tip with salt, pepper, and your choice of herbs, then sear it in a hot pan until browned all over. Transfer to a roasting tray and cook in the oven for 30–40 minutes, depending on your preferred doneness (see guide below). Allow the beef to rest for at least 15 minutes before slicing against the grain to ensure maximum tenderness. Keep in mind cooking times may vary depending on your oven. Ensure product is piping hot before serving.
Grill/BBQ:
Preheat your grill or BBQ to medium-high. Season the tri-tip and sear over direct heat for 4–5 minutes on each side until browned. Move to indirect heat, cover, and cook for a further 20–30 minutes, or until your preferred doneness is reached (see guide below). Rest the beef for at least 15 minutes before slicing against the grain to maximise tenderness. Cooking times may vary depending on your grill. Ensure product is piping hot before serving.
