New Year’s Eve food inspiration
🥓 Sticky Honey & Mustard Sausage Bites
Ingredients
• 450g pork sausages
• 2 tbsp runny honey
• 1 tbsp wholegrain mustard
• 1 tbsp olive oil
Method
- Heat the oven to 200°C.
- Cut the sausages into bite-sized pieces and place in a roasting tray.
- Drizzle with olive oil and roast for 20–25 minutes, turning once.
- Spoon over the honey and mustard, return to the oven for 5 minutes until sticky and golden.
Serve with cocktail sticks – perfect finger food for New Year’s Eve.
🌿 Dutch Herb Butter
Ingredients
• 125g unsalted butter, softened
• 1 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped
• 1 tbsp fresh chives, finely chopped
• 1 small garlic clove, crushed
• 1 tsp lemon juice
• Salt and black pepper, to taste
Method
- Place the softened butter in a bowl.
- Add the parsley, chives, garlic and lemon juice.
- Season with salt and black pepper and mix until well combined.
- Spoon onto cling film, roll into a log and chill until firm.
Perfect served melted over steak, with sausages, or spread on warm crusty bread.
