Just to keep all our valued customers updated with the changes that we have made in our shop over the past year, to help keep both staff and customers as safe as possible during these unprecedented times.
We are currently limiting the number of customers allowed in the shop to 8/10 people at any one time (2 people per household or allowed bubble). We are allowing for parents to bring a child to the shop with them as part of the ratio above, but we do ask for children to be kept close at hand and not touch produce unless you intend purchasing.
We have operated a one direction system around the shop, and safe queuing markers are at the tills. We also operate the same safe distance queuing system outside, for both the ice cream parlour (when open) & shop and have a separate in & out system in operation. This has been on-going since March 2020.
Protective screens are installed at all our shop till areas and ice-cream parlour to keep both customers and team members safe. It is also compulsory for all our staff to wear face masks. We have always complied with the Government ruling of mandatory face masks being worn in shops, and on entry to the Farmshop you will be asked to wear a mask / face covering (unless exempt)
We are asking our customers whenever possible to please use card payment when paying for your shopping. We are still accepting cash, but card payments are so much safer than our team handling money all day.
We have installed hand sanitising stations at entrances as practicing good hand hygiene is essential, especially through these difficult times, and you will be asked to use them on entry to the Farmshop.
Please remember our click & collect and a delivery service is still available for all our customers whether that is due to having to isolate or you just do not have time to visit the shop.
We would like to thank all our customers for your custom and your understanding and support with these on-going changes.
Please Stay safe!
