Just to keep all our valued customers updated with the changes that we have made in our shop over the past year, to help keep both staff and customers as safe as possible during these unprecedented times.
Customers are very welcome at the farmshop and we are allowing for parents to shop with children, but we do ask for children to be kept close at hand and not touch produce unless you intend purchasing. The Farmshop is a Covid secure business, and we do ask our customers to sanitise on entry and keep to the 2 metre distancing requirements while visiting the premises.
We have operated a one direction system around the shop, and safe queuing markers are at the tills. We also operate the same safe distance queuing system outside, for both the ice cream parlour (when open) & shop and have a separate in & out system in operation. This has been on-going since March 2020.
Protective screens are installed at all our shop till areas and ice-cream parlour to keep both customers and team members safe. It is also compulsory for all our staff to wear face masks. We have always complied with the Government ruling of mandatory face masks being worn in shops, and on entry to the Farmshop you will be asked to wear a mask / face covering (unless exempt)
We are asking our customers whenever possible to please use card payment when paying for your shopping. We are still accepting cash, but card payments are so much safer than our team handling money all day.
Practising good hand hygiene is essential, especially through these difficult times, so please do not be offended if you are asked to use our santising station on entry to the Farmshop by one of our staff members.
Please remember our click & collect and a delivery service is still available for all our customers whether that is due to having to isolate or you just do not have time to visit the shop.
We would like to thank all our customers for your custom and your understanding and support with these on-going changes.
Please Stay safe!
